I’ve come to conclusion that Go Cozy, shoe-gazing pop band out of Silver Spring, Maryland can do no wrong. Their ability to produce lush and layered pop gems is tremendous. They also maintain to keep their sound distinguished in a genre where one’s voice can easily drown beneath others. I’m a sucker for jangle guitar licks but what I truly believe is the defining staple in their music are their lyrics; Melancholy but hopeful.
They’ve released this single along with companion track Sage Along My Life (reminiscent of MBV) on bandcamp. Download the rest of their tracks too which I’m sure will get you hooked.
